Social Media Executive

Job Descriptions:
  • Oversees all company social media accounts management (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp , We Chat Emails and other social campaign channels);
  • Executes tasks of social media strategy across social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) including develops engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, writing blog posts, articles, publishing material, promoting advertising & promotion activities, sales & marketing activities and online bookstore & other digital platform sales activities, and quarterly or seasonal company goals, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages;
  • Provides prompt responses to questions and comments over social media platforms;
  • Provide creative input and work closely with designer publishing department and other relevant parties on concept and ideas on social media marketing campaign;
  • Works with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, promotion campaigns, or other company events;
  • Keep the company up to date with the latest technologies; including researching and evaluating a variety of online social media tools to identify new opportunities for enhancements and modifications;
  • Audits and analyses social media presences, including digital advertising costs and returns;
  • Analyses social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement;
  • Monitors and develops reports on competitor activity within social media spaces;
  • Provide general administrative services (E.g.: photocopy, filing, answering enquiries on company’s activities) for Advertising & Promotion Department;
  • Perform and execute any other duties assigned to support A&P department by superior that may be deemed appropriate to this role;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to support sales & marketing department and other relevant departments/parties.
Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication / Commerce / Business / Marketing or equivalent;
  • At least 1 - 2 year(s) of experience inb the related field;
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese;
  • Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantages;
  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply;
  • Strong communication skills to interact with all levels;
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Bandar Baru Bangi.
